My life now

What a change.  A week ago I had just returned from a six week break in Florida.  Sunshine, blue skies, Disney parks, lazing about if I wanted, compete selfishness.  

Now?  

Such good fun. 

But I do miss the sun! 

Opposites attract

I left 28C and arrived to 4C.

I left bright blue cloudless skies and arrived to black clouds and sleet and rain.

I left tidiness and order and arrived to a man's idea of the same.

I left a silent empty house and arrived to a house full of people and talk and laughter and welcome.

I left idleness and arrived to bustle and business.

I left lounging by the pool whenever I wanted to arrive to feeding and brushing down horses, walking horses around the village, helping to muck out the stables.

I left 'What shall I do today?' and arrived to 'What must I do today?'

It's good to be home.
